For those of you who are not familiar with this great South African thriller/mystery writer, I can only say that you are missing something great. At the same time, the book devotes considerable attention to how deeply and paradoxically Trotsky loved and took care of his own family and his two Borzoi, and how Mercader similarly loved his two Borzoi. A very talented author. He insists she was jaywalking, which somehow convinces her that the hit and run really wasn't really a hit and run. So don't think too hard about this purchase.
